Great fish Shug..... :clap :clap But tell me something why so many people come up to Magiscroft..hit a waggler or feeder out into the main loch hoping to hit halfway or worse the other side..hoping for a big fish like ur's Shug..when in most cases all that needs done is plop ur rod or pole line out in front no more than a couple of feet...how many big fish have been caught up there this way..must be plenty....here is a question for new Anglers...who use Magiscroft..why not ask..or better still..why doesnt the gd match anglers..offer there time for new inexperienced anglers an hour maybe 2, I know some off u do already .. its gonny be gd in the long run .. I know Tommy runs the beginners clubs .. but some ppl might not want to go to the club levels of fishing and only want to experience in the quietness of fishing...I dont get up much now as I used too, and last time I was there I spent some of my time helping others who hadnt a clue, so I hope these people have started listening and catching safely...Anyway tite lines

When i fished the beginners a couple of months ago on woodside, Tommy told me about fishing the margins which i did and went on to win the match, so it's definitely worth a go.

You're absolutely right. Many more of the biggest fish come from the margins on the Main Loch than on other lines. :thumb

when fishing the main loch i always fish the margins seems to produce the bigger fish . on the same day i caught the 8 pounder the guy across from me caught magis record fish i think it was 13 lb 7 oz he was also fishing the margins some people just think if you chuk it out to the middle then you will catch bigger fish try down the margins you will see the results . ;)
