Addicted to Pike...12.5Lb

Postby mick-hay87 » Sat Jan 10, 2015 8:03 pm

Wild gusting snowing conditions... one run from a fledger in deep water, 12.5Lb pike.

Cheers to "davie" (I am terrible with names, told me twice but sorry if wrong) for taking pic.

Six trips, 2 wih one rod only, 4 using 2 rods. Results were 1x 20Lb, 1x 19Lb, 1x 17Lb, 1x 15Lb, 1 x12.5Lb, 2 x10.2Lb.
Also two lost fish estimated weights 1 x 25Lb+, 1 x10Lb.
1x blank trip outa six - were I didn't do much but sit at rods all day.

I count at least 9 different doubles from main loch, the 17Lb pike I caught was the same one Toj ? caught, (not a mark on it) can see by tail markings. so im sure theres a few more hiding away in the depths....
