On Saturday 2nd May 2015 The Cowans who are resident on the Main Loch from opening to closing went in search of the big carp as they always do. It was Sandy Cowan who came up trumps fishing an 8mm pelled on the feeder. After a 15 minute fight to land the carp it was weighed on the Fishery scales and was found to be 17Lbs-8ozs which gave Sandy a PB carp early on in the season. All three will be found fishing for another this week. Congratulations Sandy on your PB fish, you never stop trying.

Nice one. I caught that carp last year, it has put on 2lb since - it'll be a 20lb-er soon.
