Many congratulations to Frank Smith for becoming the latest qualifier. He weighed in a grand total 8 roach for 4oz with only three anglers catching anything.
At last central have someone in the final!!

Congratulations to the newest member of the smug club Frank Smith. ;) hope the final is more eventful than this match for you. With clear water bright sun the fishing was poor  credit where its due frank managed to winkle out 8 roach and a record minnow, at one point today I sat and thought what the f### am i doing here and I dont think I was the only one.
Fish were moving but in a hugh shoal on the opposite bank that we fished on
The only two good things about today I got the start of a sun tan and poor dell-boy was very quiet in the second part of the day :?: any ideas why :?:
A big Thank You to every one who attended , I hope the next one is more productive :D

well done Frank,

you stuck with it for the five hours catching late in the match, total grueller.

unlucky Mhari and Peter .

apologies for the way it fished, and a free day is on for anyone who blanked when it switches on.

the most annoying thing must have been being able to see lots of fish topping and shoals of roach visible in the far corner all day.

some day some day.

Hi south west

time to get some shut eye and dream of pleasant things like algae and clay and all sort of coloured water, no doubt and i suppose its time for a quick glass of the peaty water.

hope max did better than you today.

catch you again

Great to put a name to a face Frank. All that watching of Tony Ball at Magiscroft last week did the trick. See you at the final. ;)
