The anglers were aged from 9 to 17 years old including two girls.

The weather was mainly dry but the wind was unkind as it gusted all day long making good presentation impossible for the Junior anglers. The match was fished from 11am until 3pm. Although it wasn't an easy match to fish all the youngsters gave it their best effort throughout the 4 hours.
