Good result, well done! 
To contrast, I was 6lb 2oz on the top pond, with three carp, three perch and two gudgeon. I think I made the wrong choice!
The largest carp was 2lb 11oz and gave me a good run around so some consolation.
The Island Pond does seem to be fishing very well for a carp pond in the middle of winter though.
