Match Report:

Eleven anglers fished todays match from 11am till 4pm on a dry vercast day with no wind of note.

Bryan Docherty Jnr caught all day long and had a net of Carplets weighing 26Lbs-10ozs for a clear decisive win on the day. In second place was Barry Lindsay who secured that place with a 3Lb+ Carp late on weighing 17Lb-11ozs. Third place went to Dougie Campbell who dropped a 6oz carp back into the water when it's fins caught on his landing net at transfer. Dougie weighed 17Lbs-9ozs just 2oz behind Barry. It was a good match with the weights spread round the Pond. Big well done to the framers who had excellent performances on the day.

Next Open Sunday. Limited to 11 anglers so if fishing ger name down fast.

Tommy Lauriston.

Typical Conservative Douglas twist all the facts. The ELCAC Match is on The Island Pond Sunday and The Doc has stated he is fishing The Oaks this weekend. At least there was some semblance of truth in the fact that the match is on Sunday. :bleh :bleh :bleh

Actually I havnt got my ear to the ground at the moment Tommy (Elections, illness, family problems...... you name ive got it) so ill rely on your posts to keep me right. As far as being a typical Tory is concerned I might add that two of my friends were successful in the council elections one was a Tory & one was a Labour candidate & I was happy for them both. :bleh :bleh
