Match Report:

Thirteen anglers contested this Sunday's Open Sweep on the Island Pond fishing from 11am till 4pm. The Match was double pegged in two sections 02 to12 12 and 16 to 28. The weathers was showery all day long with little wind of note.

The fast starter was Eamonn O'Brien who had the fish to himself for the first 30mins. As the Match proceeded it was Derek Brady who caught steadily across at the Island. Del built up enough weight to win by 2Lbs-4ozs from the fast finishing Tommy Lauriston who managed to get paste going in the last 20mins catching half of his weight in that time to just beat Curtis Craig who had a good return to fishing taking third place. Young Eamonn managed 4th place just 3ozs behind Curtis. It was great that the first 6 anglers were just split by just over 6Lbs making it a tight competition.

Well done to all in the Frame and all whoo took part in the Match.

Tommy Lauriston.
