Match Report:

Nine anglers turned out to fish on the day that the rains came down. The heaviest most consistent rainfall this year throughout a match.

It was Tommy who won who set his stall out fishing for big fish on Peg 6 weighing in 12Lbs-12ozs. In the Battle of the silver pegs between Barry Peg 12 the most consistent Peg and Darrin Peg 10 Barry ran out victor with 8Lbs-12ozs which gave him a joint second place with Ian Sloss also on 8Lbs-12ozs. Ian also fished for silvers and got a bonus carp near the end. Frank Smith had a load of silvers for 5th place weighing &lbs-1ozs. Darrin was 4th with 7Lbs-8ozs. Poor Dougie who has had success feeder fishing recently drew the narrowest of pegs No 17 and had only one small carp.

A good day was had by all and great to see Alex Napier making a return to match fishing.
