Gordon Cowans 8lb-4oz Railway pond Ghostie

Today Saturday 24th July Gordon Cowan was fishing the Railway Pond on the furthest Peg away from the Main loch on the railway side. Gordon was fishing praw and caugh the following fish which was weighed on fishery scales. A magnificent looking fish which was happy to pose with it's fins in full flight for all to see. It took Gordon 10 mins to land the fish and his heart was pumping when he landed it. Great capture Gordon you deserve it after all the time you put in fishing the Railway Pond.

most of the carp and tench are big in the railway more so than the main loch a cuple of years back

Great fish bud...I've seen that fish on two occasions swim right pass me under my feet patrolling..and he's still there to be caught again!

i had that ghostie out in may 2010. nice to see its healed up a bit and that tails lookin much better and its put on atleast a 1lb in weight since then
