We are pleased to announce the second
coming of the very popular Pleasure Open generously sponsored by the Barras
Fruit Co. The 2003 match was the brainchild
of Derek Brady and this year he has kindly put up £175 of prize money plus
trophy.
If the popularity and success of last year's event is anything to go by, a great
time will be had by all.
Fished exclusively on the Island Pond, entry is
limited to the first 30 applicants and as in last years match entry is
open to everyone .... except serious match anglers. If you
don't fish matches often but like the idea of trying a proper
competition that is not too serious, then this event is for you.
Combined with a friendly atmosphere and quality buffet afterwards,
everyone thought that last years event was the most enjoyable and fun

Entry costs just £10 including ticket, pools and
buffet. Please ensure you pay for your ticket at the fishery as
