Top Pond

Great fishing now for small carp that are growing bigger fast!  Most fish are 3-4 oz but more fish are reaching half a pound and occasional fish over the pound.  Catches of  over 50 fish are common.  Pellets working very well for Carp and feeding micro pellets is proving successful, but Pinkie & Maggot also still good baits.

Island Pond

The fishing on the Island Pond is improving fast now after a poor spell and Carp are showing more and more up to 3.5lb.  Pellets, Sweetcorn and Worms are good baits for Carp.  Ide are also going well with big catches of fish up to 12oz - Caster and Maggot best baits, fished shallow close to the Island with lots of loose feed.

Main Loch

Fishing really well now with pleasure catches reaching 40lb including lots of bream and carp.  Winning match weights nearing 20lb.  Skimmer bream are coming right up in the water to loose feed maggot and pinkie, but positive feeding with groundbait is good for the bigger bream in pegs with less than 10ft depth.  Pellet working for good catches of small carp up to 1.5lb.
